Guidelines for Donated Clothing and Merchandise

Goodwill gratefully accepts 'gently used' clothing and shoes in all sizes and small house wares that are working and in good condition. All Goodwill retail stores and attended donation sites offer tax receipts.

We gratefully accept your donations of:

• Clothing
• Shoes
• Books, records, CDs, videos and DVDs
• Small Working Electronics - DVD players, Video game systems, Radios
• Computer & Peripherals
• Small Working Appliances - Blenders, Microwaves
• Holiday Decorations
• Sports Trading Cards
• House wares — dishes, kitchen utensils, lamps and small appliances
• Bric-a-brac
• Antiques and collectibles
• Clean domestics — curtains, linen, bedspreads, blankets, etc.
• Sporting goods
• Bicycles
• Rugs
• Paintings
• Luggage
• Automobiles (less than 10 years old and in running condition)

We're sorry, but we can't accept the following:

• Large Appliances (refrigerators, stoves, washers/dryers, etc.)
• Automobile parts of any kind — tires, rims, hubcaps, etc.
• Mattresses, bed springs, sofa beds, hospital beds
• Bathroom/kitchen fixtures
• Broken electronics — stereos, radios, etc.
• Home/Furniture – (dirty/soiled/ripped/Broken/missing pieces/rusted/moldy) furniture
• Air conditioning units
• Paint, household chemicals, insecticides, etc.
• Perishable Items - Food
• Gas powered equipment- Gas Grills, Lawnmowers, etc.
• Professional/Industrial equipment
• Baby Accessories - Strollers, Car Seats, Carriers, Cribs, Beds Play Pens
• Play Yards
• Children's Products Containing Lead
• Children's Clothing With Metal and/or Painted Applique
• Painted Wooden or Metal Toys
• Unsafe Children's Items
• Chidren's Jewelry
• Recalled Items
• Children's Puzzles & Games with Small Pieces
• Guns, Knoves, Swords, Ammunition, etc.
• Gas grills
• Hazardous materials - Paint, Chemicals, Insecticides, etc.
