Guidelines for Donated Clothing and Merchandise
Did you give to Goodwill today?
Goodwill gratefully accepts 'gently used' clothing and shoes in all sizes and small house wares that are working and in good condition. All Goodwill retail stores and attended donation sites offer tax receipts.
We gratefully accept your donations of:
- Clothing
- Shoes
- Books, records, CDs, videos and DVDs
- Clean & functional board games and toys
- House wares — dishes, kitchen utensils, lamps and small appliances
- Bric-a-brac
- Antiques and collectibles
- Clean domestics — curtains, linen, bedspreads, blankets, etc.
- Sporting goods
- Bicycles
- Luggage
- Automobiles (less than 10 years old and in running condition)
We're sorry, but we can't accept the following:
- Refrigerators, stoves, washers/dryers, etc.
- Automobile parts of any kind — tires, rims, hubcaps, etc.
- Mattresses, bed springs, sofa beds, hospital beds
- Building equipment
- Bathroom/kitchen fixtures
- Broken electronics — stereos, radios, etc.
- Broken furniture
- Air conditioning units
- Paint, household chemicals, insecticides, etc.
- Food items
- Gas-powered equipment
- Gas grills
Please give today — the need for Goodwill has never been greater.
