Goodwill’s Industrial Contracts Division has been serving businesses in the Greater New York and Northern New Jersey region for more than 85 years. Our contract shops are conveniently located in Astoria, NY (18,000sq ft and 10 loading docks) and Harrison, NJ (13,000 sq ft with 1 loading dock), each offer competitive pricing, motivated workers, convenient workshops and client-driven service managers, Goodwill Industrial Contracts has the right answer to your business needs. Our services include:
Janitorial Services – Goodwill’s Clean Team consists of well-trained, dependable janitorial crews that get the job done. Our workers clean more than 600,000 sq ft. We will clean any office or facility day or night. Typical duties include sweeping, mopping, and buffing floors; vacuum carpeted areas, sanitizing restrooms, dusting, and emptying receptacles. On an as-needed basis we will strip and wax floors, carpet extraction and shampooing, wash windows and blinds.
Motor Messenger Services (GoodXpress) – Goodwill has long provided motor messenger services to state and local government agencies who have praised us for our promptness and reliability. We will be expanding to private businesses in the metropolitan area that need either regular or on-demand deliveries. We have recently implemented an automated tracking system to monitor real-time delivery and pickup status.

Packaging & Assembling – Provides outsourcing services to over 48 private companies within the Greater New York and Northern NJ area. We provide work for over 175 individuals with disabilities in our Astoria, NY and Harrison, NJ facilities. There is no job too small or too large for us to handle. All assignments are completed on our premises, to our client’s specifications, timeframe, and budget. Jobs include; but not limited to; packaging, assembling, shrink-wrapping, mailings, collating, cable cutting, sorting, labeling, heat sealing, and sewing.
Computer Recycling – Since June, 2007 Goodwill has partnered with Dell Computers on the recycling of computers in an environmentally safe manner. Individuals can drop-off their unwanted computers and peripherals at any Goodwill store and we will sort, palletize, and shrink-wrap for pick-up by a Dell selected recycler. We are also able to provide pick-up services from any small business that has computers to donate.
